The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH) is proud to host the annual OFAH Get Outdoors Youth Leadership Conference, at the Delta Meadowvale Hotel in Mississauga, in conjunction with the 84th OFAH Annual General Meeting and Fish & Wildlife Conference. Every March Break, 80 youth will get the opportunity to partake in activities that encourage interest in hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities.

This year we will be taking field trips to the Toronto Sportsmen's Show and the Islington Sportsmen's Club. Under immediate supervision of qualified range officers, youth will participate in .22 caliber rifle range, and 20 gauge shotgun range (shotgun range for 12 and older). Participants will also: get an introductory lesson on archery, learn how maple syrup is made, enjoy a wild game feast and award ceremony, and spend some free time at the hotel's indoor water park. New this year is a fish and wildlife management demonstration and hands on activity by Fleming College. Participants will also get to meet other individuals with similar outdoors interested through outdoors survival activities or leadership initiatives. End each night with an exciting indoor campout.

The cost per youth is $90.00, which includes accommodations, transportation, equipment, meals, and entry into all events.

Meals include: pizza lunch and subway dinner on Friday; hotel buffet breakfast, hotdog lunch, and wild game buffet dinner on Saturday; continental breakfast on Sunday; as well as nut free nutritional snacks between each meal.
