The Cadarackque Outdoors Club - a Get Outdoors Club - was in Port Perry on one of the coldest days of the year (Thursday January 25th). Lead by their Teacher Glen Patton (a Scugog resident) they braved the bittering cold long enough to try their skill and luck at ice fishing. This is the third year for the club and is the third year in a row that they have gone to Port Perry to enjoy ice fishing. Store owner Wes Sullivan of Bite Me Bait & Tackle closed up shop to drill some holes for the kids. Also, Jody Infurnari, resident of Port Perry was out with his ATV and power auger to help out with drilling some holes.
